Gluten Free Teff Burger
Serves: 8
Ingredients:
- 1 brown onion, finely diced
- 1 tbsp dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp nutmeg
- 1 tsp Lotus Fine Sea Salt
- 1 tsp white pepper
- 500g organic beef mince
- 2 eggs, lightly whisked
- 1 tbsp chives, finely chopped
- 1 cup Lotus Organic White Teff Flour
- Oil for frying
- 8 gluten free buns
Garnish:
- 1 red onion, finely sliced
- Tomato relish
- Dijon mustard
- Ricotta cheese
Method:
Mix all ingredients together, then divide mince into 8 even portions and shape each portion into a patty. Heat a large frying pan over low medium heat, add the meat patties to the pan and cook for 4 minutes each side. Construct your burger inside the buns and serve.
